Head Coach Sparky Woods said
his toughest week outside of foot'

Coach Woods can remember
more difficult days on the field but
none more brutal off. This is in reference
to the emotional hardships
his family has had to endure.
But attitude seemed to be a little
more positive this week as questions

The USC Rugby team improved its record
to two wins with a 22-15 victory over the
citadel Sunday.
"We always play them (The Citadel) close,
but we usually never beat them." Rugby Club
President Greg Rollings said.
In the first half, the Gamecocks scored on a
| penalty kick by Butch Setser. The score was
5-3 with the Citadel leading alter the end of
the half.
The second half was completely dominated
by the Gamecocks. Seniors Todd Lacy and
Charles Moline led the pack, while Lynn
Moore and Matt Chalfant led the backs.

cloud, it is the offensive line's
allowing no sacks and the ability
to run the ball better. This week's
game will prove to be a big test
for many of the new players.
"It will be interesting to see
how they play on the road. Many
of them will be traveling out of
state for the first time," Woods
said.
