contestants in Columbia Saturday.
They have been searching for
1,000 interesting and unusual people
to fulfill Cosby's goal of "preienting

"The contestant will come out
and meet Mr. Cosby and talk about
their story. Mr. Cosby adlibs his
lines and asks them questions,"
Fine said.
The contestants are then given
the opportunity to risk their prize
money on whether they can answer
a trivia question. Their ultimate
goal is $10,000 or to double their
money.

over 95 percent of the U.S.
markets.
The selection process, taking
place on Saturday, consists of a
group interview, during which time
each potential contestant will have
between one-and-a-half and two
minutes to "pitch" themselves and
their stories to the show's
producers.
About 100 people are expected
to be interviewed, and appointments
must be made in advance
with Carsey-Werner Productions,
which also handles "The Cosby
