ter, an academic taciiity designed l
to provide student-athletes with an |i
area to study and receive tutorial i
services, opened at the Roost in
February.
"We wanted to consolidate our
academic support program under
one roof," David Coryell, assistant
athletic director in charge of
academics, said.
Coryell said study halls for ath- s
** letes were spread out across cam- v
pus, and sometimes the study halls
were preempted by evening j
classes.
"We've built a facility with spa- (
cious rooms condusive to studying
with comfortable furniture,"
Corydell said.
