The Carolina Coliseum gets dark. The crowd erupts into thunderous
applause. The light hits the stage. But no one is there.
Within seconds, smoke starts to infiltrate the stage creating even more
applause. Band members begin to appear and, suddenly, the steps on
stage break apart and out rises Garth Brooks.
In what could be called the concert of the year (it sold out in about
three hours), Garth Brooks, country music's number one sensation,
thrilled fans with an exhilarating performance Friday night.
Singing both honky-tonk and ballads, Brooks gave a concert of non

To give away the storyline
would be to divulge an entire

say that Reserve Two is packed
with secrets, surprises and twists.
A member of the audience must be

Much of the credit for the play's
success goes to its director, Emmalee
Robbins, who immensely enjoyed
the positive crowd reactions

"We knew we were in for something

Fans of bizarre theatre will enjoy
a heavy dose of playful audience
trickery. Although the play is
a little slow in spots and it occasionally
lapses into severely enigmatic
sequences, it is thoroughly
involving and progressively more
challenging. It is certainly a theatre
experience to be savored for its
uniqueness.
Town Theatre, America's oldest

Murder will continue to mystify
audiences from Nov. 21 ? Dec. 7.

Garth Brooks played to a full house at the Coliseum Friday night.
Also included in the concert were the popular songs "Rodeo," "The

Georgia Satellites' "Keep Your Hands to Yourself."
Amidst women's panties, stuffed animals and dozens of red roses,
