Student Vice President Shine
Brooks told senators Wednesday to
open their eyes and find what concerns
students.
"What we have done so far is
useful, but we're lagging behind
what we've done in past years,"
Brooks said of the senate, which
passes legislation to improve campus
and student life.
Brooks urged the senators to listen
and talk to people in the col
leges they represent. He cited several
items from last year's legislation
he said showed a student
senate in tune with student needs.
"A simple resolution can do a
lot of good," Brooks said.
