Witness Jamie Brigman, however, said Rhett

"I really can't make any comment right
now," Rhett said when contacted yesterday.
Jerry Brewer, dean of Student Life, said the
university could not make an official statement
about whether or not disciplinary action will be
taken against the subjects because student disciplinary
records are private under federal
regulations.
"We will not comment because of federal
regulations and because of current judicial matters,"
Brewer said.
Brewer said the university will follow the

Clemson University researchers
believe they have found a way to help
auto makers meet more stringent fuel
economy standards.
While Japanese automobile manufacturers
recently announced a new
high-mileage, low emission engine,
Clemson has patented a system that
can be added to existina enaines.
In laboratory tests, the automobile
camshaft saved about 20 percent in
fuel. It can be put on gasoline and
diesel engines without making major
changes to other engine components.
The Southern tradition of dove

September is the first month in the fall

throughout the nation will take to clearings
to shoot the birds out of the sky
