The 14th-ranked Lady Gamecocks'
softball team (8-2) travels
to Tampa, Fla. today to participate
in the South Florida Tournament
this weekend. USC is scheduled to
play Samford, Creighton, and
South Florida today, and will take
on Maine and Oklahoma Saturday.
USC split a doubleheader in
their most recent matchup against
Georgia State in Atlanta. The Lady
Crimson Panthers upset the Lady
Gamecocks 1-0 in the opener, but
USC rebounded to beat Georgia
State 5-0 in the second game.
