Even though many students wear sports clothes for comfort there are certain activities that require specific sports attire. In fencing, for example, the clo# thing depends upon whether one is * competing or just practicing. Besides the obvious mask one musl wear, one also needs a glove foi the weapon hand and genuine tennis or fencing shoes. ** Graduate student Scott Dean, a fencing club member, said the most significant items in his wardrobe are his knickers and his jcock fencing jacket. Club treasurer Stephanie Simonion said the pants should be looseitting and comfortable. One usuilly avoids jeans because they are oo restrictive, she said. Center, aid a majority of the girls are vearing nylon or "plastic" shorts >ver knee-length stretch pants. But a lot of girls are starting to vear leotards," she said. Marsha Dunn, a manager trainer it the Lady Footlocker in Colum>ia Mall said she recommends ^ool-Max pants and tops for aertbics. According to Dunn, the .ady Footlocker sells a combinaion of trend and technical merhandise, especially clothes for erobics and running. Dunn said i/indgear, a matching nylon jacket nd pants set, is the most popular nd fashionable choice of women Dday. So, whether you're out playing he sport of your choice or just re ixing arounu your room, mere is a ariety of sports fashions sure to atch your eye.
