Aside from the atmosphere,
customers can enjoy a simple

Pleasing customers has been a
part of Dukes' life for 25 years,
ever since USC's ROTC program
helped him start his restaurant
career.
After graduating from USC in
1964, the Air Force made Dukes
an officer in charge of mess
halls. Eventually, Dukes became
manager of officer clubs, which
caused him to be transferred around
the world.
"Uncle Sam directed me towards
food service," Dukes said.
