Game four at Georgia Tech will
bring the Gamecocks their first
loss of the season, 24-13. The
game will be close, but the Yellow
Jackets, much improved since last
seasons meeting, will break it open
in the fourth quarter. An unbeaten
season goes down tne tubes, but
the improvement continues.
The Gamecocks will bounce
back against East Carolina for
homecoming, posting another blow
out like last season, 41-10. All cylanders
will be clicking, and USC
will look like world beaters.
Against The Citadel the following
week, USC will look just as impressive
in a 34-14 win. The offense
with Fuller, Dingle and
Brooks is playing at all-star caliber.
Patrick Hinton will be the
defensive leader with two interceptions
and a fumble recovery in the
end zone.
The last time USC played at
N.C. State, it was a 23-7 blow out,
thanks in part to Hinton*s super
performance. This time around will
be different, as USC will take a
big lead over the Wolfpack, 22-10.
Hinton will again score a touchdown
and combine with Miller for
a safety. Dingle will lead a ba7lanced
offensive attack and score
as well. But the 'Pack will come
back, and win 24-22. And fans
will be dissapointed.
Now sporting a 5-2 record, Florida
State will come to town and
knock the Gamecocks out of the
Top 25. FSU will again prove its
dominance, but only with a couple

the most exciting games of the
year, in which the score will
change every seven minutes. FSU

spoil Clemson's ACC championship
party.
Five days later, USC will take f
on West Virginia on ESPN on r
Thanksgiving Day, but the Gamecocks
will not look like turkeys as
they have in the past on the cable
network. Riding on emotion from
the win at Death Valley, the
Mountaineers will wish they never j
came to Columbia. The game will
be total domination as USC wins
38-10. Every senior will score,
(don't ask me how) and after the
game USC will receive a bowl invitation
to either the Gator or
Peach.
There they will face either Ala- J
bama, Oklahoma, Tennessee or |
Pittsburgh. And with the Game- 8
cocks in top shape, 8-3, and an
underdog by a few points, the final
score will be....Well, you have
your own crystal ball, don't you?
