Longurrit umyuruun, unc ui mc mosi controversial
films of the summer, is a low budget
film reviewing the AIDS issue in a staightforward
and thought-provoking manner.
Longtime Companion is a film which revolves
around a group of gay friends in New

AIDS. The eight major characters in the movie,

CAMPBELLTOWN, Australia ? Most cities
would shun the name "ghost town." Campbelltown
embraces it wholeheartedly.
The city of 140,000 people is growing
briskly. But it would like to see a few more
tourists from Sydney, about 25 miles to the
nortneast.
So officials are investing $200,000 to build a
special monument to the city's most famous resident
? Fisher's Ghost.
"We want to be known as the liveliest ghost
town in the South Hemisphere," Alderman
John Hennessey, one of the project's backers,
said today.
Campbelltown already has a 32-year-old
Fisher's Ghost's Festival two weeks each
November. As many as 50,000 people attend
the annual parade.

Fred Fisher was a former convict who by j
1826 was a wealthy farmer and builder. He <
stabbed a man during a fight and, expecting a j
long jail term, gave power-of-attorney over his {
considerable holdings to his neighbor, an exconvict
named George Worrall.
On the evening of June 17, 1826, Fisher dis- c
appeared. Worrall said he had sailed for Eng- ?
land, but officials got suspicious when Worrall
started selling off Fisher's possessions.
This is where legend and historians diverge. j
