The USC women's basketball
team has signed two players to
scholarships, head coach Nancy
Wilson announced Tuesday.
The Lady Gamecocks will have
the services of Nicole "Nicki"
Bass and Lesley Beverly for the
1990-91 season.
Bass, a 5-foot-7-inch point
guard from Newberry, Fla., averaged
18.3 points a game at Newberry
High School during her four
year career as a starter.
Bass also averaged more than 10
assists a contest while shooting 43
percent from the field and 76 percent
from the free throw line.
She led Newberry High to a
75-10 record during her career.
