the State Museum, Howard Brewington,

comet ever discovered in South
Carolina, will be showing the
sun's prominences and flares
through his six-inch refractor, and
the USC astronomy department
will show the sun's spectrum thru
a spectroscope. This is a public
exposition, so all students are
welcome. USC astronomy students
will be working for credit.
