'Dreamgirls.'
By ELIZABETH LYNCH
Assistant Carolina Life Editor
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow
for the Tony award winning
musical Dreamgirls, which will
be performing Feb. 7 at the Koger
Center for the Arts.
Dreamgirls is one of the many
events planned by the Carolina
Program Union and other USC
organizations in honor of Black
Awareness Month.
The show, which won six
Tony awards, follows the career
of the classic Motown group, the
Supremes. The all-woman band
went to the top of the charts with
songs like "Stop in the Name of
Love" and "You Can't Hurry
Love."
"I'm very happy about the
musical coming to USC. It's really
great because the students
will get to see a famous musical
for only six dollars," Gina Moon,
