One of the top basketball recruits
in the nation signed to play
with the USC team Monday
morning.
Jamie Watson, a 6-foot-5 shootfeg
guard from Wilson, N.C., has
^gned scholarship papers to play
lor the Gamecocks beginning next
fall.
"We're just totally elated with
Jamie Watson's decision to attend
the University of South Carolina,"
said USC head coach George Felton.
"He's someone that we've
wanted from the beginning, and he
has a fine reputation as a studentathlete.
Jamie is one of the highest
rated recruits to come to South
Carolina since John Roche?"
Watson is currently ranked 23rd
among rising high school seniors,
