within one point at 64-63 with
8:23 remaining to play, but a quick
layup and a 3-pointer stretched the
lead back to six. The closest USC
would come after that would be
three points.
"I think the key was when we
did come within one or two
points," Wilson said, "they came
down and countered right away."
The Lady Gamecocks begin regular
season play Nov. 28 when
they travel to Auburn to take on
the Lady Tigers.
