In a climactic game the Gamer.nclc
defense executed to near
perfection for three quarters and
defeated the Georgia Bulldogs
24-20 Saturday at Sanford Stadium
in Athens, Ga.
Except for a second quarter letdown,
USC held the Bulldogs to
just six points over three quarters,
and for the second consecutive
year Georgia, 2-1, fell to the
Gamecocks, 3-1-1.
