Intramurs challenginj By D.R. HAYNES Sports editor One enjoyable activity outside of the classroom is participating in intramural sports. Students, faculty and staff all form teams, usually with peculiar names, to compete against other teams. A wide variety of sports are offered to suit almost any athletic interest ranging from Softball to innertube water polo. There are more than 30 activities students can sign up for. The intramural season begins Sept. 5 with 1 pitch co-rec Softball. Signup will be held from Aug. 28 to Aug. 31. The intramural season ends in April.,. Other events for the fall semester will include flag football, golf, volleyball,table tennis and wrestling.
