USC's Project Development Center
said recently. ~
Some of the delays in the $2.8 r
million project, which began last
November, were caused by the recent
rain and problems with the struc- r
ture's steel frame. The frame had to j.
be reworked because Triangle Con- |

plate holes in the wrong places, Ed <;

preventing us from getting in there as
quickly as possible," Bass said.
He refused to elaborate on the y
other causes for the delay, saying he
didn't want them published. (The
project is still under contract
to Triangle. Bass said the contractor ^
had assured him that construction is
almost back on schedule.
