In 1986, Frank E. Barron III offered a bribe to Alvin Portee Jr. - to pay the filing
fee if Mr. Portee would run against James Anders for Solicitor. Alvin Portee
i i? J
declined.
The Columbia Record reported that in a news conference, Barron said, "He feels I
obligated to inform the public that Anders is a 'pathological liar' and the I
most corrupt, crooked person I've ever known in public office"
If your Mama had 21 judgements brought against her, tell me, would you
vote for her, for any public elected office?
Well, Coroner Frank E. Barron III the Republican incumbent has 21 counts
from 1977-83, one of them is his own wife Susan R. Barron. Besides the
21 Court Judgements, I've ran into citizens on the street who the Coroner,
Republican owes right now.
VOTE FOR HONESTY AND INTEGRITY ON NOVEMBER 8.
Elect Alvin Portee Jr., Democrat for Richland County Coroner.
YES, Alvin, I agree that Richland County is long overdue for a
Real Medical Examiner System (S.C. State Law 1976, 17-5-220)
instead of the ancient Coroner System!
