A winter storm hit South Carolina
Thursday, dumping more than four
inches of icy sleet and snow on Columbia
and USC. The storm moved
out by Friday, but left some white
stuff on the ground that proved to be
both fun and dangerous.

freshman at Presbyterian
College in Clinton, was visiting
friends at IJSC Sunday when she
decided to have a snowball fight with
them. Hut her winter athlctics left

eyes.

administration junior, spent Monday
evening outside Maxcy residence hall
trading "ice leaps" with business administration

Both escaped with feet and faces
unscathed.
Right: Political science freshman
Jimmy Jones decided to use his Monday
evening outside Maxcy to work
on running and sliding on the ice.
However, his luck finally caught up
with him, and he went for a cool
slide.
