People are talking about the earth's ozone layer again,
the news is not good.
Recent studies show that a hole in the ozone over Antarcti

ozone layer is diminishing over populated areas, potenl
causing changes in the earth's climate and endangering
health of humans.
Most people started hearing ? and worrying ? aboul

Scientists warned that the diminishment of the ozone c
cause an increase in the number of cases of skin cancer, a ch;
in the planet's climate and a weakening of man's imn
system.
Surprisingly, the United States government acted in 1978 i
attempt to slow this process down by banning the use of CF<
aerosol sprays. Once that had been accomplished, most pe
assumed the problem was solved.
Wrong.
Because aerosols were not the only way CFCs were being i
and because European countries continued their use in s\
cans, CFCs were still being released into the atmosphere and
damaging the ozone.
So now we are being told again to worry about ozone dc

Wrong again.
Cases of skin cancer are increasing wow; the temperature
around the earth are increasing now; the time to save the 02
is now.
Although the evidence is not concrete, governm<
"worldwide should begin regulating the use of CFCs and o
chemicals that might be damaging the ozone. If we don't ki
for sure, it's better to at least safeguard against the possib
that the warnings may be true.

5 I'm sure there was a reason for inventing ties at
some point in time, although I can't imagine why
there was ever a rationale.
To be fair, women used to have to wear petticoats
in 100-degree weather. 1 guess this is their
revenge. ^ jL
