USC's Lady Gamecocks head
into this weekend's Metro Conference
tournament in Columbia
as the No.l seed with a 9-1 league
record.
USC is riding an 11-game winning
streak, and finished their
regular season schedule at 17-10.
The Lady Gamecocks closed out
the season last Monday with a
lopsided 111-36 victory over
UNC-Ashcvillc.
USC received a bye for Saturday's
first round ol play, and will
face the winner of the Virginia
Tech-Southern Mississippi game
on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Head coach Nancy Wilson said
she thinks things look good for
the Lady Gamecocks this
weekend.
"Being at home and the bye
are real advantages, but more importantly,
1 think we are at our
peak," she said.
"We arc playing with nice
How, very comfortably."
