Area clothing merchants can't
seeni to put a name on this
season's look, but when USC
women are packing their suitcases
for spring break, they need
to include bold, floral prints in
feminine separates to capture it.
"I call it the country-romantic
look," said Bruce Schultzc, coowner
of the Bohemian Boutique
on Devine Street.
Schultze defines "countryromantic"
as loose-fitting,
feminine separates in bright
floral, tapestry prints.
And if you really want to turn
some heads in Fort Lauderdale,
Greenbcrg recommends bringing

season, but never really picked
up. A cross between tank tops
and brassieres, bustiers arc ideal
for showing off a spring break
tan, and are not as risque as they
might sound.
441 remember my mother wearing
bustiers," said Elise GoyetteBoyd,
assistant manager for the
Joyful Alternative clothing store.
She recommends the tops be
worn with loose-fitting blouses
and skirts.
Of course, if you'd like a really
casual look, the old standby, a Tshirt
and shorts, has been given a
new definition by the Benetton
shops in Five Points and Columbia
Mall.
The Italian clothing stores have
stacks of cotton T-shirts and
shorts of all lengths in playful.
