Safko said the comet, which

sky at about 5 a.m. The tail will
be longest during April 5-12.
A dark sky with a good

on Greene Street. On two nights
in December and two nights in
January, Safko said there was
such a big turnout he had to turn
people away.
About 250 people saw the comet
each night from the observatory,
which holds 15 to 20 people.
Safko said each person was
allowed a short time to see it.
Safko described the comet as a
"fuzzy ball," but said the tail
was too faint to sec.
Safko said he plans to schedule
more observations in March.
Although the dates and times
have not been decided, he said
the observations will be at 4 or 5
a.m.
