West German ambassador Guenther
van Well, whose nation has the largest
foreign investment in South Carolina,
will speak to business graduate
students at USC today.
Van Well, in addition to speaking
before an international business
studies class in the College of Business
Administration, will participate in a
faculty meeting and attend a lunch
with business and industrial leaders
from around the state.
The envoy, who studied economics
and law at Bonn Univerity, is the third
ambassador to visit the campus this
semester. Spanish ambassador Gabriel
Manucco and Sir Roy Denman, head
of the United States delegation of the
Commission of the European Communities,
visited USC last month.
