Philippides Run,

USC's fraternities and sororities will be
"Uniquely Greek" during the 25th anniversary
of Greek Week, which begins today and
ends Saturday.
All USC students are invited to get involved
in some of the activities, including the second
annual Philippides Run on Saturday
and the Greek Follies on Wednesday.
Proceeds from the road races and donations
taken during the follies will be given to
the Richland County Council on Child
Abuse and Neglect.

at the Solomon Blatt Physical Education
Center on Wheat Street and wll feature two
events, 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer runs.
Registration is $4.
Runners will compete in six age categories,

The follies, a variety show, will begin at 8
p.m. Wednesday in Drayton Hall. Admission
is free, but contributions for the child

Tomorrow a blood drive will be from 10
a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Russell House
Ballroom, and a rally and non-alcoholic
cookout will be from 4:30 to 6:30 on
McBrydc Quadrangle.
Thursday, greeks and children sponsored
by the child abuse council will attend a 3:30
p.m. showing of the movie "The Shaggy
Dog" at the Golden Spur.

and sororities will compete in races and
contests of skill, will be from noon to 4 p.m.

be allowed. The public is invited.
