spring doldrums

Spring Fling '85 will offer students fun-filled days of concerts,
cook-outs, movies and exhibits. "Just for the Fun of
It" is the theme of this weekend's activities, sponsored by
CPU.
Several outdoor concerts will be held today and tomorrow.
The Famous Vacationers will perform rock and roll on The
Horseshoe from 4 to 7 p.m. and a film fest will be held on
Field A from 8 p.m to midnight. "Fame" and "Hair" are
two of the featured movies to be shown.
The Vectors, Jah Malla and The dB'S will entertain students
tomorrow at Field A from 1 to 6 p.m. and WUSC-FM will be
giving out free U2 tickets and albums. No alcohol will be
allowed and coolers will be checked at the gate.
A trip to Myrtle Beach on Sunday will allow students once
again to enjoy the sun and fun.
Free showings of "2010" on Monday and Tuesday will conclude
the festivities.T-shirts will be distributed to the first 20
people who attend the movie along with prizes to be raffled
off each day.
