Student Government should better represent USC
students and their needs, say the four SG presidential
candidates.
"I fee! like it's time for a good strong leader, someone
who will truly represent USC students, both those who live
on campus and off, both greeks and non-greeks," said can

Charleston.
"To be qualified, first you have to he a student, second
you have to he concerned. I'm very concerned ahout student
interests and representing these interests." Hilburn
said.
Bill Kotti, a political science and economics major from
North Augusta, said, "I want to build a more effective and
efficient Student Government that will be more responsive
to student needs."
"IT IS MY conviction that I am well qualified to do this
because of my extensive Student Government experience,"
Kotti said.
I Nick Smith, a political science major from Charlotte,
N;C., said he's running because of a lack of effective
leadership. "Students need a president who can work with
the administration to accomplish goals in their best
interest."
