THK PLACEMENT OFFICE arranges
on-canipus interviews between seniors within
two semesters of graduation and companies
from around the country.
Qualified students can sign up for intcr|%
views with a particular company on a firstcome,
first-serve basis, or have their resumes
sent to a variety of companies for prcscrcening.
The companies then compile a list
of the students they wish to interview and the
students are notified in advance of the companies'
arrival on campus.
Attendance of placement orientation is i
mandatory before an interview with on- jra
campus recruiters can be arranged. '
Olivia White, assistant director of the iS
placement department, said,"We want to I
serve students, and that is most important td I
us. We want to communicate to students that ;
finding a job is a job in itself, and the process I
begins when you ask yourself what you really
want." j
DONAl.l) ROSK, who conducts oncampus
interviews for Burlington Industries. v,\
said,"! wish students would use the place- [
ment office more. It sort of irritates mc to
find so many students that don't use it. don't
use it as much as they should, or that use it
too late."
Information about the placement office
and a schedule of placement oricntatior%
seminars can be obtained by calling 777-3166"
For an annual fee of $35. USC graduates
