said most people still don't know it.
"Our program (has become) renowned i
the horse world," he said, "but we woul
like to establish our team as well respected I

the university."
Formed in 1982, the Equestrian Club h;

Chris Ray said.
But now the club's membership has gro>

"I WASN'T really expecting it," Fellb.
ingham said about the club's success. "Then
to again, the people worked so hard riding."
od He said the club changed its training facility
a month ago to Long Creek Equestrian
ast Centre in Blythewood.
or The facility has an indoor arena that will
allow USC to practice during inclement
wn weather, which Ray said was not possible at
of the club's former site.
"The new facility should really help us,"
Fellingham said. "The people there share my

FELLINGHAM SAID he expects USC to
have a winning season this year, but the club
on will need more depth.
ol. "I really hope we can be more diverse," he
ich said, adding that the club does not have
enough riders who specialize in particular
ind events.
the "The team that usually survives best is the
inn one that has someone in every skill event,
he said. "You always need back-up people."
