ban Economic Studies at USC has
been recognized as one of the leading
real estate programs in the country by
the American Institute of Real Estate
Appraisers.
As a result, the institute's Southeast

made by O. Marshall Dodds of the institute,
during his visit to Rho Epsilon,
USC's student real estate fraternity.

Estate honored
of Applied Professional Sciences will
be honored for their professional and
academic accomplishments Friday
night.
Each of the eight will be named
Distinguished Alumnus of the Year by
his department during the college's annual
Homecoming reception in the
Elephant Room of the coliseum.
The 1983 honorees include Lloyd
Cogdill, vice president of Cogdill
Carpets; Lyn Bethea, marketing director
for Gold Bead and Chain Co.;
Lynn Christian, a teacher at the
Booker T. Washington Children's
Center; Angela Myers, executive

Tamper Division, Canron Corp.;
Dorothy Chapman, a medical reviewer
for Blue Cross/Blue Shield; Deanne
Williams, assistant food and beverage
manager at Holiday Inn-City Center;

and Dale Thomas, director of the
Meaia Center tor Lexington County
Hospital.
All alumni of the College of Applied
Professional Sciences are invited to the
reception, which will be held from 7 to

than 11,000 reels of microfilm and
2,250 maps pertaining to South
Carolina.
