Committee OKs m W r * _ mm - rrom aian Reports The merging of South Carolina's two medical schools was approved by the state advisory committee Wednesday. Whether USC or MUSC will operate the school was not decided. However, recommendations on an administrative structure will be delayed. Any decision to merge the schools will have to be endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education and be annrnved hv thp General Assembly. Several members who were absent from the previous advisory committee meeting have now recorded their votes in favor of the merger idea, bringing the final vote to 14 to 7. nnn WUSC'S 2,990 watt increase and move to 90.5 FM will take place at 3:45 p.m. today.
