THIS, LIKE ALL Steel's novels, is
heartwarming and terribly sad. It
was a page-turner that couldn't be put
aside until the final page. Then all
that's left is a sense of loss because
the story is over. The characters had
become the readers' friends, and then
were gone.
After a hectic semester of textbooks,
"Crossings" will be a
welcome delight on a rainy afternoon.
The book is simple, easy reading, but
promises to get you hooked on

Danielle Steel's novels. If one likes
romance novels, "Crossings" is one to
love.
"Crossings" is Steel's 14th novel
and one of her best. Published by
Delacorte Press, the hardcover edition
sells for $15.96, but the paperback
should be out soon.
One of Steel's novels was made into
a popular, but short-running movie,
"The Promise." Steel is also a sue
cessful poet, with one collection of her
poems, "Love," doing well in book
stores.

Steel's books since her first novel,
"Passions Promise," was released. If
"Crossings," is enjoyable, readers
should also try her other classics,
'The Ring," "Once in a Lifetime"
and "Remembrance."
"Crossings" is Steel at her finest
and will surely engrave her name in
the minds of romance readers
forever.
