Free Body-building Clinics will be offered by the Intramural
Recreational Sports Office and the USC Bodybuilding
Club this month.
The first clinic will be Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in room 111 of
the Blatt Physical Education Center.
This introductory clinic will include a film on basic weight

15th Annual Southern Collegiate Tennis Championships
Sunday.
Acioly, a two-time Junior College All-American who won
the National Junior College Doubles title the past two years
before transfering to USC, defeated Georgia's George
Bezeeni 7-6, 6-2 Sunday morning to advance to the finals that
afternoon.
Georgia won the championships by claiming the double's
championship in the event held in Athens, Ga.
The Bulldogs had 20 points in the four-day tournament to
take their fifth consecutive title, and Duke was runner-up
with 15 points. Clemson had 14; Florida State, 13; and USC, 12

THE NATIONAL Football League will make up no more
than two games lost during its strike-interrupted season and
will not change the date of the Super Bowl, according to a
directive from the NFL Management Council.
One week could be made up by eliminating the two-week
break between league championship playoffs and the Super
Bowl. The second week could be made up by eliminating the
wild card game, which would reduce the wild card teams to
one from each conference.

CLEMSON QUARTERBACK Homer Jordan returned to
football practice Monday,, after sitting out Saturday's
homecoming game against Kentucky.
Jordan was withheld from participation by Clemson
president Bill Atchley while officials investigated his purchase
of a 1982 Monte Carlo. National Collegiate Athletic
Association rules prohibit gifts to intercollegiate players and
