USC Signs Soccer Forward University of South Carolina Soccer Coach Mark Berson has announced that Steve Presing of Fairfax, \ Va., has signed a grant-inaid to play for the Gamecocks next season. Presing, a 5-10, 145-pound, forward, plays for Robinson High in Fairfax, which has a 1-1-1 record this season in Virginia high school play. As a junior, Presing led his squad to a 9-3 record by scoring a team-high nine goals. "Steve is one of those rare individuals who has had the knack of scoring goals throughout his career," Berson said. "He has had some excellent experience in Europe and plays in the highly competitive northern Virginia area under a fine CUiUJll, OICVC JDctUIUctll. Soccer Game Rescheduled The first Carolina Soccer Alumni game, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 1, has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 24 at 2 p.m. at the Carolina Varsity Soccer Field. Veer to the right and follow that road all the way to the water. Other schools participating are the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn University, North Carolina State, Davidson University, University of North Carolina, and University of Tennessee.
