WUSC Raises Money
To Become Stereo
WUSC-FM wants to go stereo, and the station is holding
"Moola for Music Marathon" to raise money for the change.

will be increased from 10 to 3,000 watts.
Donations can be brought by Russell House patio Tuesday
through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., or mailed to the third floor
studios at WUSC-FM, Drawer B, USC, Columbia, SC 29208.
The marathon includes remotes from the patio each half
hour, and the station will also be conducting a survey of its
listening audience for music preference.
Live music will also be presented daily between 5-7 p.m. on
the patio.
Performing will be Forethought, Elaine Townshend, Micah
Gilbert Ricky Strickland, Billy Lee, Rhythm of Discipline,
and The Collective.

The marathon will conclude with the 'Radio-92-A-Thon'
which includes 48 hours of donations, dedications and
requests, starting Friday at 8 p.m. Local merchants have
donated a variety of prizes which will be given to the highest

Donations from local businesses are welcome.
