Florida State easily won first place honors by racking up 634 points, 155 more points than the second place finisher Southern Illinois (479). The University of South Carolina Lady Gamecocks finished in third place with 430.5 points, followed by Cincinnati with 374. In the 100-yard individual medleys Sheryl Brousseau took third place. "We swam individuals (individual medleys) very well and scored well as a team and I was real pleased with that," Collins said. "I thought that the effort the girls put forth was great. Kathy McPadden and Vancy Silvers have qualified or NCAA Pre-Qualifying Diving Meet, which will be leld March 12-13. For the livers to make it to the lationals they must qualify at the diving meet.
