University of South Carolina
natatorium Thursday
through Saturday.
Florida State easily won
first place honors by racking
up 634 points, 155 more
points than the second place
finisher Southern Illinois
(479). The University of
South Carolina Lady
Gamecocks finished in third
place with 430.5 points,
followed by Cincinnati with
374. Virginia Tech rounded
out the top five by garnering

took third place.
"We swam individuals
(individual medleys) very
well and scored well as a
team and I was real pleased
with that," Collins said.
"I thought that the effort
the girls put forth was great.
They did their jobs, we had
good team effort, the
cheering was great, and
there was great enthusiasm,"
Collins said.
