Ever have one of those
days when you just can't
seem to find enough time to
get anything done, let alone
eat? One of the questions
most asked by students is
"Where can I get a good
meal that doesn't take all
day and isn't part of the fast
food chain?" Well, if you can
manage to take five, then
nait your problem is solved.
Takin' Five, located on Main
Street next to Capitol
Newsstand offers the meal
for the student with little
time. Although Takin' Five
hasn't been very popular
with students its menu is
basically focused on the
appetite of students, dieters
included.
With Winter upon us,
nothing else sounds better
than fresh homemade soup.
Takin' Five is proud of its
large variety of soups.
Among the soups offered are
Vegetable Beef, Chili and
Beans, New England Clam
Chowder, Ham and Navy
Bean and everyone's
favorite, French Onion. The
price is even better...All-UCare

Although Takin' Five is
5 designed for the "rush hour"
L crowd, it's not completely
5 self-service. All you really
5 have to do is walk in, sit
> down, order and wait on vonr
1 food. The only thing you may
) have to do is get up to go to
the salad bar, everything
else is served at the table.
e The atmosphere is
t pleasant. Booths and tables
e line the walls. Takin' Five is
, a blessing for USC students.
e There aren't that many
Y places near campus that
offer homemade bread and
fresh homemade soup. So, if
,? you're hungry and have a
Y cramped schedule, take
r five!
