About 60 children are eligible to attend the center ree because their parents qualify on income terms or because they are protec:ive service children, rhese include foster children and children in danger of neglect or abuse. Also, about 20 paying children attend. Children are then able to work and play with others from a variety of backgrounds and environments. Reynolds said it is important that children are exposed to all types of people for development and is worried that with further cuts only paying children could benefit from the program. Reynolds said the program has been sue cessful. "It meets a lot of needs and helps a lot of children and families who otherwise would not be lw.l~.wJ " hcijjvu.
