out in the second half, as the
Wildcats took control.
TENNESSEE captured
the Region II crown
Saturday when Mary
Ostrowski sunk a free throw
with three seconds left to
boost the lady Vols over
ODU 65-64.
The losses dropped
Carolina's record to 13-17
including eight wins that
were forfeited because Frani
Washington was ineligible to
play in them, according to
the IAW.
The Lady Gamecocks now
must hope for an at-:..' ge bid
to reach the national tournament.
