voted Wednesday to limit
board chairmen .o serving

Chairman R. Markley
, Dennis said the rule was
changed because,
historically, most subcommittee
and board
chairmen have served an
unlimited number of terms,
serving continuously until
their resignation.
"I think it is important
that all members participate
to the fullest. The limitation
in the chairman term would
allow the* fullest participation,"
Dennis said.
Dennis is serving his
second two-year term as
chairman. The term expires
in October 1981; however the

board amended several
other university bylaws, but
these changes will not be
