Few marijuana smokers
at (JSC would ever think that
they may have to lose their
lives for enjoying a few tokes
in the privacy of their own
homes. But such was the
case recently with one young
man in Spartanburg County,
and I seriously doubt that he
expected such a fate.
A 22-year-old Pacolet man
was shot down by a Spartanburg
County deputy a
couple of weeks ago in his
"line of duty." The deputy,
by forceful entry, stalked the
young man with a search
warrant and a pistol, and put
a bullet in his head.
wnetner or noi tne young
man was selling marijuana
or other illegal drugs is
irrelevant. (None were
found). He was not armed,
hardly a dangerous
criminal. He was shot
defenselessly.
It just makes me sick! It is
about time that we
marijuana smokers wake up
to the fact that we are victims
of discrimination,
prejudice, persecution, and
