Capstone dorm room burst
at 9:30 p.m. Sunday causing
minor flooding on 10 floors.
David Castine, associate
director of Auxiliary Services,
said he did not think
the damage was extensive.
"The worst damage occurred
on the ninth floor. There was
also a lot of water on the fifth
and sixth floors,"Castine
said.
This is the second time this
year Capstone has had
trouble with its water pipe
system. In October, eight
rooms were flooded on the
y ninth floor when a kitchen

Castine estimated
damages at less than $1,500.
"If we can salvage some

LINDA SAAD, acting
director of Women's

has not been able to assess
damages yet. "We're trying

"But there still might be
stains or shrinkage."
Saad said no one has filed
