Campus Court decided
unanimously Tuesday to
order a new election for a
disputed senate seat because
"overwhelming irregularities"
occurred in the Oct. 2
election.

problems in the election for
seat three in district 10.
Election workers weren't
properly trained, and many
students were told they could
not vote because registration
lists were incomplete.
In the Oct. 2 election for
the vacated student senate
seat, Michael Nash and Rick
Becker received the most
votes. In the Oct. 9 run-off,
Becker beat Nash by almost
a three-to-one margin.
Nash protested the election,
saying Becker had
committed six voting
viuiauuns. ine fcieciion

discrepancies in the election
