Columbia City Councilman
Ruddy Baker, representing
republican presidential
candidate Ronald Reagan,
won a convention-style
debate sponsored by the USC
Clariosophic Society
Tuesday night at Legare
College.
More than 80 people, including
groups from student
organizations supporting the
major candidates, attended
the debate. Members of the
community spoke in support
of the candidates.
"For the past four years
we've watched the economy
flounder and felt the ravages
of inflation," Baker said.
