Barely old enough to drink in South Carolina, Johnny posseses the attitudes of someone much older than his twenty years. The Johnny Van Zant Band was the opening act for Foghat and the Outlaws Sunday night at the Carolina Coliseum. Johnny's spirit and vivaciousness spilled forth to the audience in a blast of enthusiasm. He captivated the crowd with his infant onorrtu nauuv VsAiXsi . Yet to glimpse Johnny off stage,t)ne wonders where he stored his battery. He must have it plugged into the wall somewhere. Johnny is a timid young man nervously fingering his lips as he talks, afraid to let anything too revealing slip out.
