walk daily to get food.
Some of the money raised
by the event will be
distributed to hungerfighting
agencies in the
Columbia area. But most
will go to CROP programs in
more than 50 countries
worldwide.
After the walk, Arthur
read a proclamation to the
participants from Gov. Dick
Kiley making October 1980
"Hunger-Fighting Month" in
South Carolina.
