the thieves apparently entered the Russell House through a
fire door after the building closed at 11 p.m. Friday.
"The game room opens at 10 a.m. Saturday, and the attendant
notified me at 10:45 a.m. of the seven pinball and
three space-game machines which were standing open,"
Mclntyre said.
"THE MACHINES which were broken into were the
popular type," Mclntyre said. "It looked like they knew what
they were doing."
Mclntyre said there is no way of knowing the game room's
total loss until thp marhinp motorc aro onrl nnm
pared with the Friday night readings. The meters record the
amount of money in the machine.
Police said they have no suspects, but the vandals face
charges of housebreaking, malicious damage to property and
larceny.
