"My father can win. Don't let anyone tell you he can't," said the 22-year-old Boston College graduate. Anderson said he is encouraged by recent financial boosts to the campaign. "Thursday, we received $190,000. My father is in Washington working it out right now," he said. Anderson is also eligible to receive $5 million to $10 !11! # * ? million irom me reaerai Election Commission after the election if he gets at least 5 percent of the vote. Anderson said his father will secure loans now and repay them with the money from the commission. The money will be spent on television advertising, Anderson said. Anderson said his father has a good chance of participating in debates planned for the fall. "When my father speaks on TV, the polls jump from 17 percent to 31 percent. So when he debates Reagan and Carter, he will do well," said Anderson, calling his father an "articulate speaker."
